The Accounting Associate is expected to ensure that payments to vendors and/or employees are prepared and paid within a reasonable amount of time, while complying with the standard operating procedures related to these matters. He/she should be able to manage expectations of vendors regarding the payment schedule while maximizing credit terms.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting to ensure that month-end books closed by 10th of each month
- Maintain Average Days of Delinquent in accordance with the Target of Global KPI AR collection days
- Ensuring booked revenues, earned revenues & aging of receivables updated accurately on daily basis
- Ensuring all requested invoices sent to clients with an SLA
- Managing bank and invoice reconciliation for money-in
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting applications
- Has proficient knowledge of accounting standards and tax principles
- Detail-oriented and has effective communication skills
- With strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related course
- Those with experience in related work are preferred
