Job Description
We are in need of a DevOps Engineer who can design, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot server infrastructures in AWS. The DevOps engineer must ensure that the system is running 24/7, and the system should be maintained in a level of speed and performance that triggers positive user experience. The engineer should also ensure that all sensitive information is secure from intrusions both from the inside and from the outside.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have at least 8 years of experience in server infrastructure management and maintenance
- Must have at least 5 years of experience managing Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- “AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate” or “AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate” certifications is a plus
- Must be a strong team player
- Must be able to handle infrastructure design and execution
- Must be able to automate deployment and design a system for continuous integration
- Must ensure that the system is up within the bounds of a service-level agreement
- Must be able to set up proactive measures such as backup procedures, auto-scaling, and alarms
- Must have deep knowledge in infrastructure security, and must be able to do security policies and audits
- Must be proficient with EC2, ELB, EC2 Container, S3, Route 53, Chef/OpsWorks, CloudWatch or other similar AWS technologies
