- Willing to be assigned on shifting schedule; including Holidays and Weekends;
- To assist, advise or guide the employer in complying with the provisions of the DOLE Safety Standards, or including the development of health and safety programs.
- To make at least a quarterly review of programs and safety performance of the establishment, including the activities of the health and safety committee.
- In the absence of a Safety Officer, to be present during scheduled safety inspections by authorized government agents and as requested during regular health and safety committee meetings and to render at least six (6) hours of service a week in the establishment in the performance of these activities.
- To advise and assist the employer in complying with the reporting requirements of DOLE Safety Standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- The applicant preferably is a Nursing accredited practitioner for at least two (2) years..
- Preferably with experience in policy formulation and development, monitoring and evaluation, and implementation of occupational safety and health management systems.
- Must have completed the 80-hour Advanced Occupational Safety and Training Course as prescribed by the Bureau; and
- Must have earned an additional 480 hours of training/seminar or related learning processes in various fields of occupational safety and health from accredited organizations or institutions authorized by law.
- BOSCH Certified.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
