Pricing Analyst  

The primary mission of the Pricing & Yield is to optimise revenue performance of the domestic & inbound retail segments, by recommending pricing strategies on all retail discretionary segments for his/her market, by implementing this strategy, by monitoring competition and by taking necessary corrective pricing actions resulting from the regular analysis and close monitoring of retail performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide reporting for regular strategic reviews with Pricing and Yield Manager and Senior Management, present a summary of key areas, and provide observations and recommendations.

2. Agree on strategy with Pricing & Yield Manager and Senior Management and manage the implementation

3. Market analysis, competitor canvassing using Rubicon (far-out / close-in), and other relevant sources

4. Analysis of retail rental performance/reservation trends

5. Review fleet build, at a location level, and implement Pricing & Yield actions to maximize revenue & utilization

6. Dynamic pricing of retail discretionary products for domestic & inbound market, for all rental locations and revenue channels, based on forecasts and trends.

7. Propose / monitor promotions on domestic retail products and manage inbound promotions with the relevant department.

8. Design domestic and inbound price structure to meet business needs and revenue maximization

9. Produce new rates to drive new avenues of business

10. Define walk-up rate infrastructure for local management

11. Reporting on how products are performing (KPI’s)

12. Influence forecasts / support country CE/BP segmentation

13. Ad hoc analysis of trends, revenue opportunities, customer behavior.

14. Understand demand for and supply of car rental vehicles, e.g. advance reservations, fleet supplies, historic performance, and take appropriate pricing yield actions to reflect this. Daily analysis of inbound retail rental performance/reservation trends

• Graduate from a reputable school or international university
• Must also possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or related
• At least 6 months of work experience in the corporate world, or personal business
• Should have project involvement in either academic or co-curricular organizations
• Required Skills: Leadership skills, proficient in English both oral and written communication, Good problem solving and analytical skills, and people management skills
• Willing to work in Pasay City
