HR Specialist
Media Meter tracks content across thousands of channels including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, blogs, and social media so brands can gain a better picture of their offline and online presence. For us, it is all about helping organizations understand what is happening in their world so that they can build more effective communications strategies. We do this by revealing conversations about issues and brands in the media, extracting insights from these conversations so that organizations can build strategies around them.
Job Description
We are looking for Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The human resources specialist’s role is to ensure that important and vital positions are successfully filled. The HR specialist will also oversee current employee satisfaction and productivity of the employees, ensuring that the workplace is always running efficiently.
Core Tasks
- Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
- Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
- Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
- Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints, issues and other violations stated in the corporate employee handbook.
- Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
- Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources focusing on recruitment or other disciplines associated with human resource management.
- Must be familiar with utilizing different channels for recruitment and staffing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent profiling and screening skills.
- A degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, and related fields
- Strong English and Filipino communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Efficient management and administrative skills
