About the opportunity
M2.0 Communications is looking for a talented Senior Drupal Developer to help deliver web projects for an established international client working at the forefront of modern website design and development. Our clients include Australian federal government agencies and multinational businesses.
Drawing on your extensive experience in technical scoping, delivery, and testing, you will work with a local and remote team of managers, strategists, UX/UI designers, front-end and back-end developers to deliver innovative, high-spec Drupal and PHP-based projects.
About you
You're inspired by a challenge and are delivery focused. With at least five years of experience, you are adept at taking ownership of a project from inception to delivery. Your attention to detail is matched by the spirit of teamwork and sense of pride you take in delivering a great outcome.
Your role will include:
- Collaborating with a talented web team building Drupal websites
- Assisting with scoping, architecture, requirements analysis
- Building reusable components, templates, and code libraries
- Working with our UX team on pixel perfect delivery
- Optimizing build for speed and performance
- Ongoing enhancements and support
Minimum Qualifications
Desired attributes:
- Drupal 7/8 CMS, theme layer, and custom templating
- GovCMS experience a plus but not critical
- PHP/MySQL
- API Integration
- SASS/Bootstrap
- GIT Workflow
- Docker experience a plus but not critical
- Front End skills including HTML5, SCSS/CSS/CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery (nice to have
– if you’re a gun Drupal BED we’d still like to talk)
- Mastery of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and SEO
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
