Job Description
- Determine how best to represent a concept visually
- Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
- Develop the overall look or style of a publication, an advertising campaign, or a theater, television, or film set
- Supervise design staff
- Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members
- Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style
- Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments
- Manages traffic of outputs within the visual team
- Present designs to clients for approval
Minimum Qualifications
- Has a strong understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines, as well as brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
- Experience with a variety of Adobe design software and other software platforms
- Strong familiarity with graphic design and publication software
- Strong persuasive skills
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable on interacting with clients and internal staff alike
- Strong interpersonal and managerial expertise
- Able to understand design and recognize fresh approaches in the advertising industry
- Highly conceptual team leader who is constructive, fearless, collaborative, smart and committed to a vision while being open to ideas from the team
- Deep understanding of interactive environment and a desire to stay abreast of the industry’s newest trend
- Experienced in facilitating strategic and creative brainstorming sessions, creative brief development and directing creative execution
- Experience connecting and developing interactive solutions with demonstrated results
- Strong organizational abilities, including time and resource management
