DevOps Analyst (Development Operations Analyst)  

The DevOps Analyst (Development Operations Analyst) will be the coordinator between Creative, Internet Marketing and IT Departments for website speed optimization. He/She will be responsible for analysis, interpretation, recommendation and implementation of improvements on internal business platforms. He/She will continually monitor the sites’ health and regularly look for ways to improve site speed and/or other functionalities with the teams and management.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site speed analysis, interpretation of data
• Proactively report performance and suggest improvements
• Create and update site speed performance criteria or best practice checklist/s and monitor adherence to these before and after website promotions or network changes
• Collaboration with other teams to create workflow and processes. This includes being a liaison between IT and Creative and Internet Marketing departments
• Documentation and follow through of change requests and enhancements
• Developing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing the IT Infrastructure activities of Manila Office
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues or problems with the applications and systems
• Required certification every year
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree, Information Technology, Computer Engineer or equivalent
• At least 2 years related work experience
• General understanding of website speed optimization tools/reports
• General understanding of automation/scripting, provide development and deployment tools
• General understanding of project management, e.g Windows
• General understanding of technical support
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Team Foundation Server
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience in ASP.net and C# back-end web development
• Proficient understanding of TCP/IP model particular in HTTP protocol
• Strong analytic skills
• Team player
