Job Description
- Will be a deployment coordinator at a large company where he/she will represent the project and is fully responsible for detailed planning and execution of deployment in the data center.
- Will be a test coordinator where he/she is responsible for application testing in a migration project. This could also be a team lead role.
- Will be a technical expert in the design, implementation, and deployment phases of a storage solution and backup solution in an enterprise environment.
- Will be project lead or technical lead in the migration from an on-premise environment to Office 365 and/or other initiatives to improve business performance.
- Will build relationships with regional leadership and employees to understand business needs and represent them on the IT Leadership team.
- Will develop and document best practices for the installation of storage and backup systems.
- Will provide plans and recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting for storage and backup system.
- Will also have responsibilities in the Infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
- Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience
- Microsoft Clustering and Exchange is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Strong communication skills (including ability to probe deeply into business issues during exploratory and fact finding calls/discussions)
- Strong analytical abilities to quickly understand business issues and add to the development of corresponding solutions
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to monitor multiple simultaneous project efforts
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced production environments working under tight deadlines.
- High degree of initiative, self-motivation and follow through.
- Experience supporting PIP and SOX security standard
- Experience in exercising security requirements, establishing security protocols and procedures for storage systems, backup systems and data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft O365
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Established a strong work ethic
- Energetic and passionate for IT
- Team oriented
- Familiar with Information Technology process and procedures
