Job Description
The position is responsible for the development of new accounts and the servicing of existing accounts for General Insurance products. Key accountabilities include growing the business portfolio and providing service to existing clients. This is to be achieved through activities such as prospecting for new business from new and existing clients and identified target groups, determining appropriate insurance programs and risk management plans.
• Managing, retention of, servicing and growth of current portfolio of clients and new business opportunities.
• Develop and deliver formal insurance program proposals.
• Ensure a consistently high level of client service.
• Maintaining debtor control.
• Renewal review preparation and appointment.
• New business enquiries.
• Claims liaison/management.
• Responding to quires raised by clients, insurers and other interested parties.
• Keep informed of industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Development of marketing initiatives in conjunction with management.
• Other tasks as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- At least 2-3 years with relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in Australian commercial insurance is a plus
- Must have Australian non-life insurance experience
- Willing to work in Eastwood, QC for an early morning shift (6AM - 3PM)
