Restaurants need to order meat, fruit, veg,dairy and more – but the way they order is literally still via phone or text. We’re an industry disrupter widely talked about in the media and are now seeking a new addition to our Customer Service Team to keep up with the growth.

About the role

This role is two parts:

  1. You will be the guardian of our internal knowledge base which will be used by our teams in Manila and Sydney.
  2. You will support our marketing function by creating content to be sent to our customers (e.g. email promotions, information updates, SMSes)

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing our knowledge base: Defining and enforcing the structure of the content e.g. page trees, headings, titles, etc.
  • Writing new content when there are new launches: We’re a fast-paced new business and there are constant product updates, process rollouts, etc. This role will need to be able to take vague, outline instructions and turn them into beautiful pieces of content.
  • Keeping our existing content updated: Every process tweak, every change needs to be reflected in the knowledge base
  • Writing and updating our email templates: Keeping our macros on Zendesk fresh and accurate
  • Building our training materials: We’re hiring lots quickly, we need your help to ensure they have the resources to succeed
  • Create user-facing communications: Support our marketing department in creating EDMs, SMSes, information updates, etc.
  • Directly reporting to the operations manager in Manila

Minimum Qualifications

  • Great written English skills: You have excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Good at summarizing content: You need to be able to organise seemingly complicated processes and you’re able to turn it into something simple that anyone can understand.
  • Structured thinker: You’ll need to be able to organize content across all our different lines of business in a structured, easy-to-follow flow.
  • Very organised: You’re the type of person who likes taking notes and is very organised doing so
  • Time management: You’ll have deadlines every week and you will need to be able to independently manage your own time
  • Customer obsessed: The Customer Service Team is your end-user and ultimately, your content will be evaluated based on if the team likes and uses it

Skills:

  • Previous content writing/ content management experience required: Bonus points if you’ve had experience managing content for websites, knowledge bases, even your own personal website or blog.
  • Expertise in tools used: Along with our own software, we use Zendesk, Hubspot, and Google Suite so experience here is a plus.

  • Team player: We are a friendly and hard-working bunch – it’s really important you’re a naturally interpersonal and team-focused person. We all rely on each other every day
