Job Description
- Manage 1 or few business units independently
- Set business unit vision & strategy
- Own the profit & loss result of the business unit
- Plan short-term and long-term BU improvements to meet business goals
- Set roadmap and own the product requirements of the business
- Lead and collaborate with product, engineering, operation, marketing, and sales to deliver results
- Hire, train and serve as a mentor to your team (Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, & Sales)
- Acts as the subject matter expert of the business
- Conduct extensive competitive product evaluations and analysis
- Create and track metrics to define the success of business units
- Evangelize ideas that solve real customer problems
- Build relationships with relevant partners
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information system, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; MBA is also preferred
- 3 years of product management or product design experience, or2 years of management consulting experience
- Experience in developing Internet products and technologies..
- Experience with business challenges and the ability to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence senior executives.
- Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with business workflows and processes
- Proven success in delivering business change initiatives
