Job Description
- As principal architect, you design possible architectures. You understand all impacts of a given solution: required development skills, security layers, scalability, cost, maintenance in the future, possible evolution, Technical limitations.
- You work closely with the development team to implement solution and deliver on time. You participate to development, test and code review.
- You continuously maintain your level of expertise, follow new technologies, test new libraries, framework, recommended development good practices.
- You act as technical guru for the team: you share your knowledge on good practices, you propose specific training for team members.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and development of cloud solutions using Microsoft technologies but not only.
- Monitor and participate to architecture implementation and project development.
- Drive the innovation strides in the product development: Take successful initiatives in various categories like technical debt reduction, technical stack upgrade, and engineering best practices to be followed by development team.
- Advocate of engineering best practices needed for qualitative and efficient software engineering.
- Initiate and conduct a company-wide technical mentoring and coaching program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- 6+ years of proven work experience as a (full stack) developer with at least some experiences in architecture, for a tech software product company.
- Prior experience of working in a mid/large size software product business in the areas of core product architecture building, maintaining and continuously innovating is highly appreciated
- Microsoft technologies master, such as C#, ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core, cloud architecture using Azure mainly or other cloud system like AWS or GCP.
- Advanced knowledge with at least one front-end frameworks. Ideally ReactJS (but it could be AngularJS or Vue.JS)
- Experienced mobile developer. Has developed some mobile apps using React Native Xamarin or Flutter from scratch
- Experienced in both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Obsessed with customer focus and a complete sense of ownership and accountability.
- A recurrent participation to technical forums is highly appreciated.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from top tier institutes.
