Job Description
- AS400 System/Database administration
- Performs AS400 entire system back up.
- Performs system maintenanance on a scheduled basis.
- Generates various reports from the system for different departments and staffs.
- Conducts minor and/or major computer repairs.
- Network administration both from head office and branches.
- Innovate and creates easir better ways of doing work.
- Coordinates with system provider and other IT companies for various IT related jobs.
- Communicates effectively with the Department Head to ensure quality of work.
- Regularly monitors system performance.
- Performs other job related tasks as directed by superior and key officers from time to time and when the need arises.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in similar or subordinate position
- Graduate of IT-related course
- Experienced in AS400, Cisco, SOPHOS, LAN/WAN, DNS and TCP/IP
- Network/System/Database management skills
- Advance skills in PC hardware and software
- Highly responsible and reliable
- With excellent analytical skills and able to identify problems, determines their causes and find solutions.
- Good communications skills. Able to converse in English language effectively with foreign nationals.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
