Job Description
- Oversee all phases of the site design process across research, conceptual design, visual design and usability testing.
- Deliver world-class customer experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Plan, coordinate and conduct user research, participatory design and usability testing
- Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
- Articulate design rationale as a means to balance business goals and user needs
- Oversee the progress and growth of the UX/UI team, providing support, design direction and mentorship
- Plan and lead stakeholder presentations, workshops and discussions that clearly articulating design rationale
- Participate in all stages of the product design and development lifecycle, including initial ideation, validation, design, testing and post-launch evaluation
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum B.A., B.S. degree and/or certification in related disciplines such as visual design, marketing, experience design, psychology, information architecture, and behavioral research
- 8+ years of relevant payments / digital wallet / E-Retail experience providing digital creative direction (mobile design experience preferred) to design teams for product and service development efforts with prior roles in a leadership or management position
- Exceptional writing, verbal communication, organization and presentation skills
- Expertise with industry standard tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC
- Attention to detail and the tenacity to make sure quality standards are high
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects with changing demands and a sense of urgency and accountability on personal and team deliverables.
- Previous experience with agile teams and agile methodologies
- Hands on experience utilizing web analytic and analysis tools
