Legal Counsel  

Role:
Reporting to the Senior Counsel (APAC) and Managing Director Indonesia, you will be responsible to support all aspects of Total Eren’s business in Asia Pacific with primary focus on Indonesia including the development, financing, construction and operation of solar and wind projects.

• Analyse legal issues and provide technically and commercially sound legal advice, including in connection with land acquisition, permitting, construction / procurement, project financing, dispute resolution and corporate governance.
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of agreements, large and small, related to Total Eren’s Indonesian and other business activities, including NDAs, letters, service agreements, terms sheets, etc.
• Provide technically and commercially sound legal advice to facilitate ongoing regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Cooperate efficiently with and manage external stakeholders, advisors and suppliers.

Profile:

• 3 years+ PQE at a well-recognised firm with land / development / energy / project exposure or in an in-house team performing a similar role.
• Provide legal advice that balances risk mitigation with commerciality sound and pragmatism.
• Combine strategic thinking with attention detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and concurrently manage a portfolio of small and large matters.
• Ability to take leadership and have a commercial and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with regional teams across various markets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Bahasa required).
• Strong competency with all Microsoft Office applications.
