Job Description
- Design and conduct both qualitative and quantitative user research
- Help define product requirements and success metrics
- Understand the problem that the team/company wants to solve and able to translate it into research initiative to help solve the problem
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, using internal and external data, and define applicable customer/market trends.
- Continually monitor product performance (feature usage, customer delight, retention etc.) and brainstorm with the product management team on ways to improve
- Able to present findings to cross-functional teams in a clear and actionable way
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 3 years of professional experience in product research, marketing research, or a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Have a proven track record of designing, executing, and participating research on user experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, etc.)
- Experience with qualitative research methods, such as focus groups and ethnographic studies
- Experience with online research tools, such as SurveyMonkey, Google Consumer Surveys, etc
