Job Description

  • The Marketing Assistant is responsible for coordinating and monitoring marketing initiatives and administrative tasks to support the revenue groups. Promotes community awareness of projects and fosters internal and external relations to support the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and coordinates with the Marketing Leaders and Members and suppliers; supports programs and initiatives for the company; develops and/or participates with the management team in the development of short and long-term marketing plans;
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities;
  • Facilitates completion of regulatory/compliance requirements (ASC, DTI, IPO etc.);
  • Assists in the development, writing, and communication of Marketing plans, promotional recaps, creative briefs, project recommendations, and presentations;
  • Ensures that all locally-developed creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines;
  • Reviews various marketing materials and makes recommended edits.
  • Analyzes marketing and competitive data and consolidates findings to support marketing strategy development;
  • Prepares a calendar/schedule of projects for monitoring;
  • Coordinate media placement and printing of various brochures, articles, and schedules; coordinates distribution of printed material;
  • Oversees production of materials in coordination with Purchasing;
  • Supports attends, and assists in mounting marketing events;
  • Monitors and creates a monthly report on the following: Sponsorship Monitoring, Budget Monitoring, Inventory Monitoring, Job Request Monitoring (Marketing related requests), Mailing Requests and Request to Purchase Monitoring Log;
  • Assists in the completion of marketing project requests;
  • Provides feedback and best practices to the Marketing team on a consistent basis; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, and Communications or related field.
  • Experience: Internship experience in Marketing, preferably in Branding, Marketing Communications, Market Research, or any related scope of work.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; and
  • Capable of working at home efficiently.
