Job Description
Under the Head of Billing, the Revenue Accounting Staff is primarily in charge of the preparation of the Statement of Accounts (SOA) for subscribers, ensuring that records with new payments, adjustments, and customer information are all updated in the billing system. Moreover, he/she is also responsible for making journal entries for the preparation of Financial Statements.
- Records the newly installed subscribers and disconnections daily.
- Computes and prepares the Statement of Accounts, sales invoices for the existing and new customers by the end of the month.
- Calculates subscriber rebates when the customer experiences downtime connection.
- Records tax withheld from customers and files it with BIR.
- Records the daily and/or monthly collection reports.
- Attends and assists concerns or inquiries of customers and co-workers.
- Provides monthly Journal Vouchers to the General Accountant for the preparation of the Financial Statements.
- Performs ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management or any other financial related degrees.
- With relevant and strong exposure in Accounting work of at least one (1) to two (2) years specifically in billing.
- Knowledge in basic accounting and with intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
- Has effective and efficient communication skills in dealing with internal and external clients.
- Is highly organized and can multitask.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and is a team player.
- Amenable to work beyond office days/hours if needed.

Philippine Telegraph & Telephone Corp. (“PT&T” or “Company”) was incorporated on November 1962. In 1964, the Company was granted its first legislative franchise under Republic Act No. 4161.
