Job Description
- Handle different general accounting processes (e.g Bank Reconciliation, Cash application, collection, and intercompany accounting)
- Ensure all cash transactions are properly and timely recorded in the books of accounts
- Ensure all cash transactions reflected in bank statements are properly validated and accounted
- Ensure timely resolution of book and bank reconciling items
- Ensure cash transactions are compliant to cash handling and management policies and procedures by considering the following:
- Effectiveness- deliver expected output/ result with good internal control
- Efficiency- streamline processes and avoidance of non-value adding activities
- Regulation compliance- comply with the Philippine Accounting standards and internal policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams within Finance on policies and procedures improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- Preferably a CPA
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance, Treasury and General Accounting, preferably in manufacturing set- up
- Cash Handling and Management, best practices and updates
- Knowledgeable in Philippine Accounting standards
- Knowledgeable in ERP (Navision, SAP, Oracle)
- Good Communication skills
