Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist  

The Web Developer | SEO Specialist is responsible for website building, navigation and maintenance of all content on ProSource Global Outsourcing websites. The position is responsible for assisting Lines of Business with their online execution of their overall marketing objectives through developing the website into a branding, lead generation, and customer enrollment and capture/retention tool.

• Support corporate website updates, including design and coordination, as driven by the business and functional groups including line of businesses, human resources and graphic designer.
• Improve design, usability, accessibility, and functionality of the company websites.
• Maintain codebases that are optimized for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and standards compliant.
• Provide input and ideas for improvements to website and Intranet site; Develop and code regular updates and new functionality on front and back end. Ensure the quality of portal design and content.
• Implement SEO and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) programs, monitor rankings and calculate ROI; Monitor website content for out-of-date postings; manage site visitor feedback; Monitor status of projects and report usage trends;

• Maintain expertise on search engine news and trends

• Collaborate with other teams (i.e. lines of business, revenue generation) to build brand reach and consistency, evaluate website content for brand/image consistency and consistency with other marketing activities/media.
• Manage, maintain and enhance ProSource Global Outsourcing’s presence on social media websites (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram) through the creation of appropriate content and imagery (e.g. photos, video, blogs, copy/text etc.).
• Assist with other assignments related to corporate communications.

Education:

A Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Marketing, Information Technology or a similar field.

Qualifications:

• 3 years+ experience designing and creating websites across desktop and mobile devices
• 2 years+ experience in search Engine Optimization e, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Excellent knowledge of Social Media platforms and metric dashboards
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, content management systems (CMS) (e.g. Joomla, WordPress, Drupal), as well as HTML, Javascript and SQL, User interface and user experience design (UI/UX) skills preferred.
• Knowledge of SEM tools such as MOZ, SEM Rush, and Google Keyword planner preferred.
• Content writing and editing experience is an advantage.
