Job Description
- Collect tax-related information and maintain company tax preparation system
- Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
- Update the company tax database as tax rates change and update tax provision schedules
- Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
- Prepare/Review other various tax filings: Annual reports, Intangible Tax, Sales and Use Tax.
- Advise management regarding the tax impact of business strategies
- Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
- Conduct research projects; model tax savings in prospective scenarios
- Provide an information source in the tax area within the company.
- Assist colleagues in financial planning and analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a CPA with 3-5 years of strong and progressive experience
- Exellent research and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well and professionaly with all external and internal stakeholders
