Job Description
- Ensures compliance to accounting procedures in accordance with group policies, taking into consideration the unique requirements of the business unit.
- Ensures that all accounting processes and procedures, notably for new ventures, comply with internal control policies
- Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring that all revenues and costs incurred are properly recorded, and balance sheet accounts are analyzed on a regular basis
- Regularly coordinates with the business unit managers and other stakeholders to produce timely and accurate financial and management reports
- Ensures accurate and timely recording of Fixed Assets in accordance with approved policy, with regular physical count conducted
- Coordinates regularly with Internal Audit department to monitor implementation of remedial/corrective actions.
- Coordinates with External Audit and provides all requirements as needed
- In charge of risk management (insurance)
- Identify and implement process improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be an Accountancy graduate
- Must be a board passer (CPA)
- Preferably with more than 6 years of work experience in accounting or audit gained from the big 5 accounting/audit firms, manufacturing, or retail industry.
