Job Description

The Role: As a Client Engagement Associate in our Sales Operations/Support team, you will be responsible for facilitating the sales process by gathering relevant intelligence based on client-needs, liaising with other teams internally and engaging with prospects as required.

The Location: Makati City, Philippines

The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Sales Operations Team works with our internal and external partners to generate revenue for the company. You will be working with colleagues based all across Europe and the USA. You should expect to work in a high-reaching, fast and creative environment.

The Impact: You will work as a part of one of the highest producing and dynamic sales team at S&P Global Market Intelligence, dealing with some of the biggest companies in the world in multiple segments (e.g. Banking, Energy, Telecommunications and Media). Your contributions will largely impact the revenue generating engine of the organization.

What your day to day tasks would be:

  • Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospects on a regular basis and perform product demonstrations relevant to the needs of prospects.
  • You will be promoting discovery conversations to research client responsibilities, business drivers, and team structure with the purpose of identifying viable opportunities for new sales.
  • You will also monitor and analyze reports to identify outreach opportunities for Account Managers and/or Sales Executives.
  • You will be provided training on all of our products so you are able to address incoming client questions or issues falls under the preview of this position as well.
  • You will be involved in the administrative process of the sales team you support and will thus have the opportunity to take over and help to improve their existing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Communicate and discuss technical concepts over the phone
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively and confidently communicate with all levels of management internally and externally with prospects for product demos.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Organized and structured approach to handling tasks is important
  • Incumbent should have the ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks at a time and remain cognizant of deadlines and schedules
  • Demonstrate interest and understanding of the financial services industry, players and roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum in Business Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance. Intermediate level of computer skills. Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Past experience using SalesForce will be a plus.
  • Prior experience of working in a dynamic and customer driven environment is preferred. We are open to fresh graduates who show strong interpersonal skills and exceptional learning potential.
