Job Description

The Impact: Do you love building strong relationships? As the key partner for our clients, the Relationship Management team masters industry, product and supply chain knowledge to keep clients informed. You will get to work with a large group of clients within the Corporate sector. This position will be responsible for running and growing a team of relationship managers in the corporate account space. Your focus will be on helping a team succeed in achieving their net renewal rate targets and creating sales referrals.

What's in it for you?: Working with a broad range of global clients, other S&P commercial teams, and the chance to build a new team at your site office while working alongside a diverse range of professionals across the sector. You will also be incentivized and responsible for the overall renewal targets for the accounts managed on your team and will assist with identifying new sales opportunities with our Sales Executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and training new corporate and supply chain Relationship Managers
  • Running existing business base; using relationships with large and complex existing accounts to grow and retain business and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Conducting regular status and strategy meetings with management to understand products, business structure and how our products/service can deliver value.
  • Identifying upsell opportunities from existing clients and new sales leads for revenue generation to promote business growth.
  • Understanding and coaching team members on the diagnostic approach to selling
  • Analyzing clients' business needs and developing solutions and product enhancements and new development opportunities to maintain and grow business.
  • Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends to understand competitive environment. Participating in sales conferences and events.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members on internal systems and policies/procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • University degree required; Post-graduate degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working in a client-facing role with proven record of success; background in sales or account management preferred.
  • At least 2 years experience in a people management or project management
  • Industry knowledge and/ or direct experience with global trade/supply chains would be a plus
  • Goal and action orientated, with ability to work towards revenue targets within a business development environment
  • Advanced presentation skills to management
  • Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.
  • Experience serving as a team lead, mentor or trainer for junior staff
  • Solid organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage a senior level audience
  • Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) would be advantageous
  • Must be willing to work in Makati and in a night schedule.
