Business Intelligence Analyst  

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you must have high business acumen, can maintain good client relations while also being knowledgeable in the technical skills needed in the data profession. The role starts with understanding the client’s business problem, going through the entire data analysis process with assistance from other data/business professionals as needed, and then presenting the data-driven business decision to the client. This role:

• Works with clients to understand the operational problem of the business, analyzes the problem domain, and validates requirements
• Collect, transform, and organize necessary data from multiple sources, analyze, design, visualize and share insights that drive data-driven decisions.
• Regularly works with other business professionals and subject matter experts for support and feedback
• Handles and manages projects with multiple stakeholders and delivers quality output in a timely manner
• Generates insights and presents recommendations to clients

• Can understand the overall functions and day-to-day operations of a business
• High in business acumen, including finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 1-3 years prior experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or a Business Analyst
• Advanced Excel
• Knowledge in SQL
• R/Python (for data collection & cleaning) is a plus
• Experience in using data visualization or BI tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
• Excellent in client relations and presentation skills
