Job Description
Shipper looking for a Data Analyst who will develop optimization tools (SQL, Microsoft.NET, VBA) in the area of business analysis. He/She will be responsible to cooperate with different functions in the Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Finance, and will actively take part in currently open projects in business analytics function.
Job Description
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data system
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Identifying bottlenecks in various projects.
- Preparing weekly dashboard for the work pipeline.
- Preparing the weekly dashboards for people analytics
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and source systems SMEs to resolve data quality issues that may occur. Provide them supporting evidence as needed
- Regularly review Data reports, take action to address the issues, and follow up to ensure resolution (gatekeeper for data quality)
Minimum Qualifications
- Experienced or fresh graduate from reputable university in Computer Science / Statistics / Informatics / Information Systems / Information Technology / Applied Math or another quantitative field from reputable university
- Have experience in a Data Engineer role
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytic skills related to working with structured/unstructured datasets
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- Strong project management, agile development and organizational skills
- Experience with data related Azure cloud services and Power BI
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, etc.
- Good experience with SQL and NO SQL
