Job Description
What Do We Do?
- Sierra Madre actively invests in, and engages with, companies in the Philippines to help them deliver significant change in their trajectory through strategy development, operational improvement and enhanced governance and sustainability practices.
Your Role
- Work within small teams to identify, assess, and process investments in private companies in the Philippines. Following investment, engage at Board level with portfolio management teams to help them deliver on ambitious business plans.

Minimum Qualifications
- Financially Literacy: comfortable analyzing financial statements; understands and can identify drivers of financial performance
- Financial Modelling: can build robust, error-free, flexible and strategic financial models that guide scenario planning and form the basis of investment decisions
- Communication: can clearly and concisely make their case in elegantly written English, and in spoken English and Filipino (with relevant Chinese dialects an additional bonus).
- General Business Sense: good general understanding of how companies work, the ability to identify strategic points in their value proposition and value chain
