Job Description
- Executes processing of payroll on a semi-monthly basis
- Produces third party reports every payroll cutoff
- Posts monthly government remittances (SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth) to government agencies’ accounts using their accredited bank payment system
- Computes communication and other allowances every 15th of the month
- Computes employees’ benefits such as 13th month pay, leave conversion, etc.
- Computes last pay of resigned employees
- Verifies completeness of unclaimed salaries/incentives and reconciles details with posted amounts in the accounting system
- Executes timely recording of transactions in the accounting system
- Submits monthly reports/schedules of assigned accounts
- Updates monitoring files for reference
- Responds to payroll-related inquiries promptly (Advises concerned personnel/supervisor for any issues/exceptions identified & Endorses recorded transactions and supporting documents to the Payroll Supervisor for review)
- Organizes filing and maintenance of reference documents
- Accomplishes all other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance.
- With 1 years of Payroll processing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Keen to detail to avoid errors and probable loss
- Good analytical and judgement/problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills for giving/receiving information and interacting with clients/employees
- Knowledgeable, or familiar with, MS Office or Google Suite.
