Slash has headquarters in Singapore and community-oriented R&D hubs in Phnom Penh, Yerevan, Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Bandung. We are a team of 50+ entrepreneurs, engineers, hackers, and full-stack developers with unique capabilities in web, mobile, AI, and Blockchain.

Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact Slash?

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs to inform product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business, to define product requirements and prioritize product features.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the product vision is aligned with technical capabilities and constraints.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, outlining key milestones and timelines for delivery.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve the product and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Provide complexity estimation, backlog planning, and thorough descriptions of the user stories
  • Provide vision and direction to the agile development team & stakeholders
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of pre-prepared tasks to work through
  • Identify problems linked to the evolution of the product
  • Provide technical and/or physical solutions to deliver product
  • Analyze the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are
  • Identify problems within a business, including through using data modeling techniques
  • Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research
  • persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
  • oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
  • Identify & manage all blockers and document solutions
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments that impact the successful team completion of sprint goals and product release

Minimum Qualifications

How do you know if you are a good fit?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge in Azure and ReactJS.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex software development projects.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback
  • An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques
  • Understanding of Agile processes and principles is greatly desirable
  • Ability to provide project leadership to a team
  • Passion for UX design and creative thinker with a vision
