Senior Web Programmer  

Summit Digital websites lead the industry in reaching targeted audiences passionate about a wide range of interests - fashion, beauty, food, entertainment, home, travel, motoring, business, and pop culture.

The Sr. Web Programmer plays an intergral part of the build, test, integration and delivery phases of web application development. This person will work closely with Project Managers and Media Designers or internal teams to ensure the final product adheres to the scope and design.

As a Sr. Web Programmer, you will:

• be writing well-designed, testable, efficient codes by using web development disciplines
• handle different requirements under project delivery
• work with either delivery or support group, which ever needs the capability

You must be:

• able to adapt to an agile environment
• adhere to best practice and standards set by a group
• able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision

You must be highly familiar or possess high competency in the following technologies:

• PHP framework or equivalent web technology
• CSS Framework (e.g. Bootstrap or Foundation)
• Laravel
• MySQL
• Web Services and API's
• CORS
• Javascript and JQuery
• HTML5
• Able to have a working knowledge of Rabbit MQ/AWS SQS/REDIS/or in-memory store configuration and version management

• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• An experienced programming professional with at least 2 years of experience;
• Possess a degree in Computer Science or any IT-related course
