Job Description

Overall Functions / Job Objective:
A native social media campaign manager’s main responsibility is to ensure that native content (articles, videos, and social posts) produced by StoryLabs hit their respective targets committed to advertisers. Other responsibilities include providing insights for the improvement of native content production and distribution.


Specific Functions:

  • Devise strategies to reach and engage with Summit Media’s diverse audiences to achieve these goals: drive traffic back to our websites and to increase engagement on native social posts
  • Set up and monitor ads on Facebook Ads Manager with the goal of hitting targets such as page and video views for a variety of native content
  • In partnership with social media writers and native advertising editors, conduct A/B testing for native content on social media, particularly on Facebook
  • Learn, develop, and implement recommendations to optimize the performance of native content
  • Collaborate with editors (both native advertising and editorial) to pitch, conceptualize, and optimize content for social media
  • Educate StoryLabs editors, Summit Media editorial teams, and publishers on emergent practices for online content production and consumption
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in business studies/administration/management, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager and Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in written English, and attention to detail are a must.
  • Understands how data can inform a smart editorial strategy.
  • Adept at distilling numbers into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience hitting key social metrics.
  • Ability to balance taste and editorial POV with the data-driven strategy to achieve multiple brand goals.
  • Has 2-3 years of relevant experience managing social media for a brand or media publisher; direct experience managing a major Instagram and/or Facebook account preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in fashion, beauty, current events, and pop culture.
  • Customer-centricity, flexibility, and grit are essential.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
  • Full-time position is available.
