Job Description
- Provide technical assistance to clients
- Perform online and on-site activities including liaising with government agency officials or representatives, university heads, and corporate representatives
- Utilize SuperMap GIS software to analyze spatial and non-spatial information
- Produce output for research projects and studies
- Assist in writing, consolidating, and reviewing technical reports for improvement and updating of existing GIS software
- Report quality, problems, or any innovative suggestions to immediate superior
- Conduct training, seminars, and workshops for optimization of the usage of SuperMap GIS technology
- Contact and interact with the technical team, software developers, and other members of the technical community to achieve company goals
- Perform job-related miscellaneous duties that may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, geodesy, geology, engineering, or other related fields
- A very good understanding of Geographic Information System concepts
- Knowledge in GIS data analysis and data collection; good in data visualization and presentation
- Computer literate; knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in GIS-related software
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
- Excellent communication, coordination, analysis, and report-writing skills
- Flexibility to work individually or as a part of a group
- Programming skills is a plus
