Job Description
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Create, plan and implement detailed deployment designs
- Write and maintain technical implementation documentation on existing services and systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Linux administration RHEL, Centos
- Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache)
- Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS
- Experience with virtualization
- Extensive knowledge and experience delivering most of the following services – Mail, Storage VoIP, DNS, DHCP, Web, Virtualization & End point security.
- Knowledge and experience of databases
- Knowledge on Installing & Configuring of Windows & Linux server
- Knowledge on Networking (Cisco Router, Firewall, Layer 3 & 2 switches, AP's, VLan's & ISP)
- Knowledge of VOIP technology and protocols
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around managing, control and monitoring of server & network infrastructure
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software
- Extensive knowledge and experience of delivering complex projects on time and with minimum disruption for Clients
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Must be keen to learn and develop new skills
- Excellent communication skills
