Job Description
- Responsible for the processing of sales transactions in accordance with established customer service and operating policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the efficient processing of customer's payment - no shortage or overage.
- Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits and issues official receipts.
- Ensures that total sales transactions tally with the cash on hand. Reconciles total payments received with total sales.
- Safe keeps all cash payment and petty cash funds (As petty cash custodian, all petty cash vouchers must be ensured to be duly accomplished and approved).
- Properly accomplish and submit the Daily Sales Reports (DSR) on time to the Supervisor for checking.
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Maintains awareness of all sales and marketing promos, including discounts.
- Process merchandise return and exchange.
- Ensure that special discounts are properly handled.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of check-out areas.
- Bags the purchased items.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Greet customers entering the bistro.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admimission, and tabulate bills using POS.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder or completed any vocational course
- Excellent communication skills
- With at least 6 months related work experience
- Willing to be employed under a cooperative
