Job Description
- Research technical issues and make recommendations based on findings as issues arise
- Troubleshoot site performance issues that impact SEO and partner with the development team to strategize solutions
- Communicate SEO best-practices to business user and company at large in a clear and approachable way
- Stay up-to-date with current optimization factors and algorithm changes
- Monitor competitor SEO metrics (ranks, inbound links, content topics, formats, and distribution, exposure and diversification, on-page optimization, etc.)
- Work with the SEO team to manage and promote cross-functional tasks with members of the marketing, product, analytics, and development teams to ensure maximum impact of SEO
- Update and run monthly reporting for all tactical aspects of SEO from keyword analysis to technical audits and content creation
- Perform on-site content optimization in line with SEO best practices
- Assist in SEO content creation including but not limited to onsite, blog, and video
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any other related fields
- At least have 1 year experience in SEO
- Understand usage of SEO information systems
- Interest in and understanding of all aspects of digital media
- Knowledge of/experience with MS Excel
- Ability to work under pressure
- Thorough attention to detail
