Job Description
- Evaluate and recommend designs, tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Applies insights into the business to understand how the application can meet a client’s needs, convey their brand, and help embrace new customers online.
- Create and share operational requirements and development forecasts to allow for timely and accurate planning of projects, during strategic project-planning meetings.
- Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver cloud service.
- Design and Develop the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind.
- Handle code deployments in all environments.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
- Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
- Improve infrastructure development and application development.
- Provide level 2 technical support, and perform root cause analysis for errors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with effective communication skills.
- Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations.
- Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), CI/CD tools, understanding the dependencies of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python, Perl, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies.
- Experience in database high-availability clustering.
- Network security for application.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
- Implementation experience in building and administering virtual machine s and containers using tools such as Docker, Vagrant, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions with at least one of the tools: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Implementation experience in any of the following tools is a plus:
- Apigee
- Zookeeper
- LDAP
- Qpid
- Elasticsearch
- Server Virtualization
- Cloud Computing
