Job Description
- To perform project design, installation, configuration & testing of network components and systems specific to PLDT TNT Network.
- To conduct preventive maintenance, service support and replacement of faulty network hardware components when required specific to PLDT TNT Network.
- To conduct knowledge transfer and trainings to operations specific to PLDT TNT Network.
- To provide On-Call support specific to PLDT TNT Network.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus
- Has experience in doing network project implementation and support on a large-scale deployment
- Willing to work on extended hours
- Willing to be assigned outside of Metro Manila (Luzon Wide)
- Must have deep background in deployment of DWDM/OTN/FTTx technology
- Must have strong understanding of transport network infrastructure and network hardware
- Must be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
- Must be Able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment and work with all levels of staff within and outside of the organization.
- Dependable and adaptive. Must know how to operate various network infrastructure test equipment such us but not limited to the following:
- Multi-Rate Gigabit Ethernet Testers
- OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) tester
- OSA (Oprical Spectrum Analyzer) tester
- Optical Power Meters and Light Sources
- Variable Attenuators
- Volt Meters and Ground Testers
