Job Description
- Develop and implement corporate positioning blueprint in terms of Public Affairs and Government Relations
- Build third-party contact database and identify key individuals and institutions that could act as 3rd party endorsers or as media sources.
- Conduct regulatory monitoring in the form of either existing regulatory oversight or ones which are still an idea related to the fintech industry.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis with government body, non-profit organizations, etc.
- Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
- Monitor, analyze and communicate issues with Public Relations function
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years working experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs is required
- Proven track record designing and executing successful Public Affairs campaigns at both a local and national level
- Strong relationships with both local and national government bodies and non-profit organizations
- Exceptional business writing and editing skills
- Fluent in English speaking
- Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
