Quality Assurance Associate (Software)  

Role and Responsibilities

• Providing end–to–end solutions to software quality problems.
• Ensuring the project meets the client’s requirements as well as the user experience and user interface standards in various platforms and devices (desktop, mobile devices, etc.).
• Collaborating closely with Production team members during the project’s development lifecycle regarding current and possible issues and dependencies.
• Reviewing the requirements, specifications, technical design, process flow documents to determine the necessary test cases.
• Creating a detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plan, test cases and bug reports for each project to facilitate bug fixing and issue mitigation.
• Providing proper level of reporting accomplishments and issues encountered.
• Analyzing test cases and test scripts applicable for automation.
• Performing regression testing on projects prior to client turnover.
• Submitting a monthly report of all projects checked on or before the end of the month.

• Actively participating in root-cause analysis of any issue encountered during the development of a project.
• Effectively upholding company’s practices, standards and policies relating to software development.
• Adhering with the company’s vision and existing policies.
• Supporting company’s best practices, processes and technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Design, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• At least 2 years working experience as a Quality Assurance.
• Experience in testing applications in different basic tools for Test documentation and bug logging.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in analysing user’s stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
• Knowledgeable in Agile Methodology/SCRUM.
• Knowledgeable in WordPress, Content Management System and E-commerce System.
• Can work with teams or independently.
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
