Oracle Cloud Solutions Architect  

Detailed Description

The primary responsibility of the Oracle Cloud Solution Architect is to assess Wideout’s application portfolio, determine necessary improvements to design and implement cloud environments, and work with product owners and development teams to create and implement a roadmap for managing an Oracle CX and Fusion application stacks, running in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Defines subsystems and, allocates responsibilities to subsystems, understands solution deployment, and communicates requirements for interactions w/ business context
• Works with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, patterns, and requirements
• Provides hands on software development, as necessary
• Performs code / configuration reviews and acts as a point of escalation for engineers
• Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, to implement and enhance the Oracle products and technology to meet business needs.
• Establishes critical non-functional requirements (NFRs) for the solution and participate in the definition of others

• 10+ years Oracle application experience
• 5+ years of Oracle solution architecture experience with Oracle Service, Oracle Field Service, Oracle commerce in the Cloud
• Experience working on Cloud based solutions with modern cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and MicroServices
• Comfortable working within an Agile environment (e.g. SAFe, SCRUM, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to build rapport with team members
• Excellent communication skills in English (Written and Spoken)
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
• An experienced professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, business processes or technology designs based on Oracle CX and Fusion
• Able to operate independently to provide quality work products, perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, to deliver Customer success
