Job Description
- Generate customer base, leads and sales as directed by reporting manager.
- Develop, strengthen and maintain excellent business relationships with customers.
- Support direct report manager/supervisor with customer profiling (such as but not limited to products and solutionsrequired, customer purchasing behaviors, identification of decision makers, potential achievable annual sales per customer) as required.
- Achieve and generate target assigned revenue within schedule and as directed.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calls and personal visits with a minimum periodic count as directed.
- Provides periodic reports of sales activities as directed.
- Support management with customer feedback on products and solutions supplied.
- Provide management with critical information including customer dissatisfaction/complaints and suggest solutions that will address customer concerns and challenges.
- Assure and expedite the resolution of customer complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Track progress of ordering process for awarded projects and have full awareness of all internal challenges that need resolution.
- Report to direct manager/supervisor internal and external challenges that prevent achieving directed goals.
- Support marketing campaigns through all media available with a minimum level of engagement as directed.
- Achieve individual development by acquiring sales and product trainings and will report to management any required skillsimprovement for achieving goals.
- Maintain excellent working relationship with all colleagues, departments and sister companies.
- Performs other management mandated functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Experience in sales.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
