Education Coach  

XSEED Education, an innovative Singapore-based education company, is entering the Philippines and we are looking to hire Education Coaches (EC’s) to work closely with our partner schools in the Philippines on implementing the XSEED School Program and providing ongoing training, support and leadership to partner schools. This position offers a great opportunity for large scale impact in basic education and great career advancement potential. Education coaches that excel have the opportunity to advance to more senior roles in training/customer service, assessment and product development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Own the XSEED Program implementation in new partner schools:

• Support school owners and XSEED Leaders in the implementation of the XSEED program in their schools.
• Responsible for high-impact Five Step Training (FST) to prepare teachers & principals
• Model XSEED classes across grades and subject areas
• Prove the value of the XSEED program in order to maintain and or upgrade the program value in the school

Regular, scheduled visits to partner schools:

• Conduct regular teacher trainings at partner schools to ensure ongoing program effectiveness
• Conduct and file regular audit reports on program implementation and school performance

Quality assurance & customer support:

• Resolve all academic and related queries from partner schools within 48 hours and escalate queries to the Blue Scale Quality Implementation team as needed
• Be available during working hours, 6 days per week to field customer queries and requests

Skills:

• Demonstrated teaching experience in K-12 classrooms in the Philippines
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teacher training & professional development seminars
• Ability to recognize academic issues and develop & prescribe solutions in a classroom setting
• Works well both independently and in teams with a variety of involved stakeholders
• An understanding of the broader workings and functioning of a school is preferred

Experience:

• Teaching experience in the local school system (public or private) at the K-12 level and/or experience in a quality K-12 training organization
• Experience in creating and providing professional development to teachers and schools

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of teaching and/or experience at the K-12 level, elementary (K-6) experience preferred
• Bachelor Degree in teaching or relevant subject matter from leading local universities
