- Spearheaded recruitment and contracting of farmers to achieve target hectarage every cropping season
- Responsible for the full implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) (composed of Crop, People, and Environment Pillars) in crop production and ALP (Agricultural Labor Practices)
- Transferred updated and cost-effective production technology by creating technical guidelines and training farmers on recommended field practices
- Responsible as an on-site agronomist
- Installed and maintained drip irrigation technology on measured land area.
- Coordinated with other vegetable farmers that were willing to engage in drip irrigated contract growing
- Supervised project implementation for Sustainable Tobacco Production (STP) through validation, monitoring, and analysis of initiatives.
- In charge of coordinating with the PMI Asia Regional Team in Indonesia and Pakistan with regards to progress monitoring of various agronomy projects.
- Responsible for the market development of the company’s organic product; including conducting promotion meetings targeting the farmers and the agricultural officers in specific area
- Ensured 100% achievement of a production target of high-quality crop every season
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Agriculture, BS Agricultural Engineering, Agri Technology, Agri-Business Management, Agri Extension Education
- Computer Literate
- Has good interpersonal & leadership skills
- Can work under pressure
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Flexible
- Has knowledge of Farming. Coconut and Coffee is a plus
