Key Responsibilities

About this Position

We're looking for a Quality Audit Officer,, you'll be on the ground ensuring ASTRO Hub Kitchens consistently meet our food quality, safety, and Halal standards. You'll investigate quality issues, uncover root causes, and work closely with Operations to turn audit findings into practical improvements through CAPA.

Responsibilities

As our Astronaut, your missions are:

<ul>
	<li>Conduct quality audits across ASTRO Hub Kitchens to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, food safety, food quality, and Halal standards.</li>
	<li>Inspect raw materials, packaging, production processes, finished products, storage conditions, sanitation, hygiene, and GMP implementation.</li>
	<li>Perform basic quality checks, including pH, Brix, TDS, organoleptic assessment, visual inspection, and temperature monitoring.</li>
	<li>Identify and evaluate audit findings, then communicate issues and practical recommendations to Operations teams.</li>
	<li>Investigate customer complaints, product defects, rejects, and process deviations to identify root causes.</li>
	<li>Develop and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), including action plans, follow-ups, and closure status.</li>
	<li>Prepare accurate and objective audit reports and maintain proper documentation for each site visit.</li>
	<li>Conduct regular Hub visits and Mystery Shopper activities while maintaining confidentiality, objectivity, and integrity.</li>

Quality Audit Officer

	<li>Execute daily packing and production schedules in accordance with production plans.</li>
	<li>Assign and optimize manpower allocation to ensure efficient packing line operations.</li>
	<li>Monitor daily production output, productivity, and Cost Per Pack (CPP) against established targets.</li>
	<li>Ensure product quality, packing standards, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SOP requirements.</li>
	<li>Coordinate the availability of packaging materials, equipment, and production resources.</li>
	<li>Resolve daily operational issues, including downtime, manpower shortages, and material constraints.</li>
