About this Position
We're looking for a Quality Audit Officer,, you'll be on the ground ensuring ASTRO Hub Kitchens consistently meet our food quality, safety, and Halal standards. You'll investigate quality issues, uncover root causes, and work closely with Operations to turn audit findings into practical improvements through CAPA.
Responsibilities
As our Astronaut, your missions are:
- Conduct quality audits across ASTRO Hub Kitchens to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, food safety, food quality, and Halal standards.
- Inspect raw materials, packaging, production processes, finished products, storage conditions, sanitation, hygiene, and GMP implementation.
- Perform basic quality checks, including pH, Brix, TDS, organoleptic assessment, visual inspection, and temperature monitoring.
- Identify and evaluate audit findings, then communicate issues and practical recommendations to Operations teams.
- Investigate customer complaints, product defects, rejects, and process deviations to identify root causes.
- Develop and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), including action plans, follow-ups, and closure status.
- Prepare accurate and objective audit reports and maintain proper documentation for each site visit.
- Conduct regular Hub visits and Mystery Shopper activities while maintaining confidentiality, objectivity, and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
In order to launch the missions successfully, you need to have:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Agriculture, or other relevant fields.
- 0-1 year of experience or internship in QA, QC, Quality Audit, Food Safety, or related functions is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, and Halal/SJPH.
- Familiar with basic F&B quality checks such as pH, Brix, TDS, organoleptic assessment, and visual inspection.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, objective, and able to demonstrate strong integrity and communication skills.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets/Docs, and open to using AI tools to support daily work.
- Willing to work on-site and travel regularly across ASTRO Hub locations in Jabodetabek and other operational areas when required.
