Job Mission:

The Digital Copywriter is a master wordsmith responsible for crafting engaging and persuasive content that will help our clients achieve their goals. You will work closely with other creatives and our Accounts team to develop content that is aligned with our clients' brand identity and target audience.

 

Expected Outcomes

First 90 Days

<ol>
	<li>Familiarise yourself with the work process. Two-pronged: 
	<ul>
		<li>Within the Content team: How tasks are distributed within the team and approvals</li>
		<li>Within the larger organisation: Get to know the Design and Animation team, and who you need to talk to get the results you need</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Familiarise yourself with the Accounts teams. This involves knowing:
	<ul>
		<li>Which Accounts teams handle which projects</li>
		<li>Which AEs handle each account</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Familiarise yourself with the accounts you’re working on</li>
	<li>Familiarise yourself with all the projects that the Content Team is working on</li>
</ol>

 
Day-to-Day Expectations:

	<li>Must know how to conceptualise and craft copy on the assigned accounts</li>
	<li>Can deliver output on time and on standard, with minimal revisions</li>
	<li>Knows the work process so you know who to collaborate with, get approvals from or ask questions of</li>

	<li>Translate creative/strategic briefs into compelling content copies and scripts (based on editorial planning).</li>
	<li>Produce and create content across multiple formats:</li>
	<li>Video content (TikTok/Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts style)</li>
	<li>Carousel/visual storytelling (for Instagram &amp; X)</li>
	<li>Handle light post-production editing using simple tools (CapCut for videos, Canva for carousels).</li>
	<li>Ensure daily content output of minimum 2 pieces/day across social media platforms.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with Creative Strategist/Lead to maintain storytelling quality, relevance, and alignment with Kitabisa’s mission.</li>
	<li>Experiment with new formats and styles — you’ll be encouraged to explore fresh ideas, test unconventional approaches, and push creative boundaries in social media content.</li>
	<li>Stay up-to-date with social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram, and apply them to our content.</li>
	<li>Conduct content creation in the field when needed (e.g., visiting beneficiaries, street interviews, event coverage).

Work Environment

	<li>Will work closely with a Creative Strategist (who is also a content writer/creator). Each of you will be responsible for producing at least 2 content pieces per day.</li>
	<li>Content creation happens in two main settings:</li>
	<li>At the desk → editorial-type content, such as creative writing, storytelling, or social commentary.</li>
	<li>In the field → journalism-style content, experimental TikTok formats, street interviews, or documenting beneficiaries’ stories.</li>
	<li>The core focus is to create impactful storytelling that:</li>
	<li>Captures real impact and human stories.</li>
	<li>Explains missions and social issues with empathy and clarity.</li>
	<li>Handles sensitive topics responsibly while staying true to Kitabisa’s values.</li>

Cetta is an online language academy run by young Indonesians with an interactive and inclusive learning system. We are on a mission to make Indonesian as an actual World Citizen. Cetta provides a synchronous online language Academy since 2020. Currently offers 6 language courses including English, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, French, and German with more languages to cover in the future.
