The position is responsible for providing technical support in the creation, development, improvement, and modification of standards, guidelines, and procedures on the planning, design, installation, maintenance &amp; operation of Aboitiz Power Distribution Utilities transmission and distribution lines.

Responsibilities:

		<li>Ensures correct and up-to-date technical data specifications and requirements by referencing current industry standards and practices to ensure system compatibility, safety, and reliability.</li>
		<li>Conducts regular audits to check the accuracy and relevance of existing governance documents in order to identify outdated or incorrect information.</li>
		<li>Develop, implement, and maintain standards such as construction standards, equipment standards, etc.</li>

	<li>Research &amp; Development
	<ul>
		<li>Identifies areas for improvement by reviewing current practices and comparing them against industry standards relevant to the organization’s initiatives to help streamline processes.</li>

Summary:

As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition, analyzing requirements, and designing efficient and scalable applications.

 
Roles &amp; Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business process and application needs.

- Design and develop high-quality applications using Java Enterprise Edition, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Create technical specifications and design documents, outlining the architecture and functionality of the applications.

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.

 
Professional &amp; Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.

o Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS, considering high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

o Experience with various AWS architectural patterns and best practices, including microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures.

o Expertise in core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, AWS Config, etc.) and their architectural implications.
