PAFCPIC stands for the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative, affectionately referred to by its members as "PAPSI". PAFCPIC is a multi-awarded cooperative offering financial services through deposits and loans to its members serving in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.   

Its membership consists of military and civilian personnel (both active and retired) of the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force, as well as their immediate dependents. With its current membership totalling more than 120,000 members, its main office is located along Bayani Road in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City and has 25 satellite offices across the country – 13 in Luzon, 5 in Visayas and 7 in Mindanao. 

PAFCPIC is the first institution-based category winner of Gawad para sa Pinakatanging Kooperatiba (Gawad PITAK) of the Land Bank of the Philippines in 2004. The IT Asset Management Intern is tasked with supporting the IT Asset Management team in effectively tracking, allocating, and maintaining IT assets within the organization. The role ensures efficient management, accurate documentation, and smooth operations of IT asset-related services.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Asset Inventory Management

<ul>
	<li>Assist in maintaining a precise and up-to-date inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.</li>
	<li>Support regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and asset tracking standards.</li>
</ul>

Deployment and Support

<ul>
	<li>Aid in the allocation and deployment of IT equipment to end-users.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with the IT Asset Management Specialist to facilitate timely replacement, refresh, or repair of IT assets.</li>
</ul>

Documentation and Reporting

<ul>
	<li>Maintain detailed records of IT asset transactions, including deployments, returns, and end-of-life (EOL) retirements.</li>
	<li>Provide periodic updates on inventory status and usage trends to the IT Asset Management Specialist.</li>
</ul>

Compliance and Policies

<ul>
	<li>Adhere to IT asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li>
	<li>Contribute to risk mitigation by supporting initiatives to prevent asset loss or misuse.</li>
</ul>

Collaboration

<ul>
	<li>Collaborate with the IT Asset Management Specialist and IT team members to complete asset-related tasks efficiently.</li>
	<li>Offer basic assistance and guidance to end-users regarding IT asset handling and usage.</li>
