About this Position

As a Quality Control Senior Supervisor, you will lead the end-to-end QC function for Fresh categories (fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy, frozen products, etc.) within the warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality standards are maintained from inbound to outbound, minimizing waste, and ensuring compliance with product specifications and temperature handling standards.

Responsibilities

 

<ul>
	<li>Oversee inbound QC processes (verify, assess, investigate) to determine product acceptance or rejection based on quality standards.</li>
	<li>Conduct stock screening in storage areas to identify near-expiry products and define appropriate action plans.</li>
	<li>Ensure proper temperature handling across all stages (inbound, storage, outbound).</li>
	<li>Collaborate with Category Management regarding product specification discrepancies and negotiate when necessary.</li>
	<li>Manage over-commitment issues with vendors (size, weight, or specification mismatches).</li>
	<li>Analyze waste across all operational stages and implement improvement initiatives to reduce shrinkage.</li>
	<li>Lead and supervise QC team members (±20 direct reports; ±45 total QC staff in warehouse).</li>
	<li>Collect, validate, and process quality data for reporting and decision-making purposes.</li>

Warehouse Quality Control, Senior Supervisor

<ul>
	<li>Verify product quality and ensure food safety is implemented.</li>
	<li>Create and update quality criteria: freshness quality product, products specifications, material packing, equipment.</li>
	<li>Monitoring and overseeing flow/SOP inbound fresh, outbound fresh and badstock.</li>
	<li>Responsible for checking, not limited to monitoring, controlling, and ensuring the quality of raw materials from the suppliers in accordance with product specs and food safety.</li>
	<li>Implementing corrective action, analysis and quality plan.</li>
	<li>Investigate warehouse, customer complaint reports, operations complaints report, processing &amp; RTC complaints report related to fresh product.</li>
	<li>Investigate, review high value for waste, disposal, and internal sales.</li>
	<li>Analyze handover data between cross teams related to fresh product transfer.</li>
	<li>Handle inventory control untuk product fresh (handle administrasi utk proses inbound dan putaway)</li>
	<li>Responsible for overall team management, including hiring, goal setting and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring and completing performance evaluations that are supported by collaboration with stakeholders.
